The Kilner is back!

We're almost there... 10 days to Christmas!!!! Looking forward to spending some quality time with the family.

Remember that you can still place orders on our shop until the 22nd of December if you want your gifts to arrive on time before Xmas Eve...!

This last weekend we had our traditional Xmas dinner, we invited some friends over and we had an enjoyable time. We prepared a very festive ambience with delicious food, crackers, gifts for Secret Santa and of course Mulled Wine couldn't be left out on such an event! Luckily we have our own Kilner Drink Dispenser (they're NOW back in stock) so we prepared this signature drink to serve it with style.

I want to share with you the recipe I used and my friends can confirm that it's just perfect (I took it from Kilner's Blog), I hope it inspires you:

The taste of Christmas, a festive drink that will leave you feeling warm and mellow.

- 1 part red wine
- 1 part lemonade
- 3 teaspoons of cinnamon
- 3 teaspoons of nutmeg
- 2 table spoons of brown sugar

Pour all ingredients into a large pan and warm on a low heat.
Do not boil.
Once the drink has been warmed add to your drinks dispenser and enjoy next to a roaring fire :)

If you don't fancy Mulled Wine you can always do Apple Cider or Cranberry Punch!
*** And just NOW you can find it with 10% OFF at ANAHI Collection

Dear Santa...

Posted on December 08, 2014 by ANAHI RODRIGUEZ | 0 Comments

Dear Santa,
this year I've been an awful good girl...

I don't know about you, but I have quite a big family and thinking about Christmas presents for all of them is not an easy task. So here I've made my list that probably can inspire you when you do yours.

- For my dad I would like...a
Storm Umbrella, because he always complains that all brollies blow inside out...!
- My brother travels a lot and a
Waxed Canvas Duffle Bag would be perfect for his trips.
- I know my hubby would be happy with a
Silberpfeil Model Car, he's passionate about Big Boys Toys.

- For my mom I would like a Moroccan Tea Set, for her tea parties with her girlfriends.
- A
Kikoy Towel would be super useful for my sis and her yoga lessons.
- For me, a
Seal Ring would be the only thing I want, I love rings and those ones make a real statement.
For my friends a Love Candle Set, part cheeky and part serious, lovely all of it.
For Secret Santa a
Jazz Book on NY in the 20's with a cd included, a great gift for anyone.
And filling the stockings with R
obots is always a great idea!

And you? Have you written your letter to Santa?
'Tis the season!

From London with love,
Anahí & Peter

Chocolate is the answer

Posted on November 11, 2014 by ANAHI RODRIGUEZ | 0 Comments

When the cold weather hits, there's nothing better than curling up with a cosy mug of hot chocolate.
I don't know why, but I believe hot chocolate has became a big thing lately in London. Chocolate is the answer, who cares what the question is.

So here I've made a list for you with the 10 best places to enjoy the best hot chocolate in London (well, actually, I copied it from Laura Porter, a London travel expert, but shhhh).
1. Paul A Young (Islington)
2. Apostrophe
3. Konditor & Cook (Soho)
4. William Curley (SW1)
5. La Maison du Chocolat (Piccadilly)
6. Hotel Chocolat (Kensington)
7. Longitude 0°8' at Le Meridien (Piccadilly)
8. Scootercaffe (SE1)
9. Paul
10. Harrods Chocolate Bar

If you don't live in London, or don't plan to come here soon, this is our suggestion:
We discovered this cute "Paquito El Chocolatero" in Madrid, my hometown. It's the Spanish way to prepare hot chocolate. The pack comes in a handcrafted Andalusian palm basket, and includes: 2 small red enamelware mugs,  a red enamel chocolate saucepan, and a 200 g bar for making a hot chocolate created by long established artisan chocolatier Simon Coll.

I'm off to make hot chocolate now!!

** By the way, research has shown that the consumption of hot chocolate can be positive to one's health. A study conducted by Cornell University has shown that hot chocolate contains more antioxidants than wine and tea, therefore reducing the risk of heart disease..!
