Unless you have been living under a rock for the past five years you will be aware that this country is in the grip of a cycling pandemic. Even the Tour de Francearrived this summer, with the Grand Départ in Yorkshire. All the brits are in the mood.
The number of Londoners cycling to work has doubled in the last ten years, with Londoners braving the busy roads to escape sweltering tube temperatures, chaotic rush hours and increased commuting costs. So is all about being ‘cycle-friendly’and I am quite like this as I was living in Aarhus last year and I must say that for Danes is a way of life, is part of their culture.
Cycling is one of the easiest ways to fit exercise into your daily routine because it's also a form of transport. It saves you money, gets you fit, reduces stress and is good for the environment...What else? Oh yes, cycling benefits the whole of London as it reduces pollution and drastically cuts congestion on public transport.
As the popularity of cycling grows and grows, here is our selection of products we have prepared for you to be in the mood too. Coming soon. Very bristish. Hope you like it.
We are almost in July and I don't have any idea yet of where I'm going to spend my holidays this summer with my hubby. My only wish is to go for a few days to the beach, enjoy the sunshine and swim in the warm blue water (I must confess that I've just did it, I've spent a couple of days somewhere in the Mediterranean, but sshhh, that's a secret).
Peter is going to his beloved Côte d'Azur, since he loves the French so much..! (let's see if they win the match tonight, at least they're still in it unlike our Spain and England). His passion for the area goes back his childhood family holidays and the gorgeous scent of the local plants, the sound of the cicadas at night and that amazing view along the coast with the contrast between the sea and mountains. The food's not bad either.
What would you consider when you choose a destination for your holidays? Do you prefer to chilling out at the beach or an adventure trip? We wanna know your thoughts and great ideas! C'mon, don't be shy.
From London with love,
Anahí & Peter
